Welcome to the 53RD International Letter Writing Competition.
Every year the Universal Postal Union (UPU) organizes an international letter writing competition in which youngsters from all over the world take part. Emirates Post invites young writers in the UAE, between the ages of 9 – 15 years old, to participate in this competition.

Prizes
- Three winners will be selected from the national submissions. One letter will be shared to represent the UAE at the international round of the competition.
- The three winners will receive certificates and cash prizes of AED 3,000, 2,000, and 1,000.
Required Information & Documents
Send the following information along with the letter:
- - Full Name
- - Date of Birth
- - Gender
- - Nationality
- - Mobile Number
- - Email Address
- - School Name
- - Grade
- - Teacher/Supervisor Name
- - Teacher/Supervisor Contact Number
- - Emirate
Make sure to submit the required documents:
- - handwritten letter (scanned colored-copy in PDF format or high-res JPEG) and
- - letter typed as Word document
Competition Conditions
- - The competition is open to participants from the age of 9 to 15 years old
- - Letters must strictly adhere to the theme of the competition
- - The length of the letter must be 500-800 words in length
- - The letter can be in Arabic or English
- - Must contain basic elements of a letter (such as: address, date, opening & closing salutation & signature)
- - Letters should be new and unpublished
